We engaged InterMountain Renovations early on as we evaluated the purchase of an older generation Courtyard in Clackamas, OR. They prepared a cost-estimate, reviewed it in detail to help us understand the true scope of work, and helped collaborate with Marriott, to ensure we had the best understanding of costs going into the acquisition. InterMountain Renovations provided interior design, procurement services, and project management for the exterior Gen 2 Modernization and interior renovation to the current Inspired Classic décor standard, transforming our Courtyard hotel . The understanding of our asset, Marriott's Courtyard brand standards, the level of partnership and trust between Marriott and InterMountain, and the owner mentality was evident across the team and throughout the process. We feel like a partner working with InterMountain. When our project came in under budget and we were determining how to utilize the overage, they provided a cost benefit analysis to help us thoughtfully consider each option. Jared and InterMountain Renovations jumped in and did a laptop PIP for a hotel we considered buying. We did not buy it and it saved us millions. They received nothing out of it other than a heartfelt thank you. Shortly after, we asked InterMountain Renovations to handle our design, procurement and facilitation of our custom new build Hampton Inn in Salem, MA. From the initial design to the coordination with architects and contractors, they were the consummate professionals. They handled all the details needed throughout this complicated development. Each department worked together and seldom did anything slip through the crack (unless it was my fault). After acquiring several Gen 1 Courtyard by Marriott hotels in late 2017, we began working with Jared and InterMountain Renovations who have to date renovated both our Courtyard Tucson Airport, AZ and Courtyard Ft. Myers Cape Coral, FL properties, and are actively renovating our Courtyard Dayton Mall, OH. In identifying a group to renovate these hotels we were attracted to InterMountain Renovations' owner-operator mindset and right-sized structure, they aren't too big and aren't too small. Their first-hand knowledge combined with the ability to provide project management, interior design, and procurement services all within one company has proven to be an advantage and of benefit to Skyline Investments on our renovation projects. When we recently had a weather-related issue at one of our previously renovated hotels and were struggling to obtain matching replacement carpet, the relationship with Jared and the team came through for us when they were able to provide remnants from their own warehouse.
